Finance Manager (109030-0424)

You will be responsible for managing a small team of Senior Research Finance Assistants (qualified to at least AAT level). Reporting to the Head of Finance (Research), you will take the lead on the post award financial management (accounting and the support of project management) of research and related grants and awards across a portfolio of university departments and activities. You will contribute to the development of financial and administrative management systems with a view to ensuring the efficient operation of the team and continued high quality of service delivery.

The role is campus based however staff can opt to work under the Finance Office’s current hybrid policy where a maximum of 40% of time (2 days per week for full-time staff) can be worked remotely. This is subject to review and whilst in the induction phase you’ll be required to work 100% in the office. Further details are available on request or at interview stage.
