We are the University of Cumbria, for and from Cumbria and our localities, rooted in serving our communities, with people, place and partnership at our heart.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
The new post of Student Content and Campaigns Coordinator requires someone with a real interest in the ways our diverse student body experiences study and university life. You will be an excellent listener with the ability to translate ideas into campaigns, and to engage with both academic and professional service staff at all levels. You will develop a strong sense of what matters to our students by engaging with them through both dialogue and data, and you will be able to communicate with clarity in a range of media. The role suits someone with experience of communicating with stakeholders with positivity and precision and you will be required to work constructively with colleagues around the University to generate content focused on the functional aspects of student life as well as extracurricular enhancements, and developing students’ sense of belonging. As such, an interest in the varied ways in which students interact with the University and a willingness to learn about the context are essential.
Due to the nature of the software in use and staff support required, the role is an on-site role with limited ability to work from home.
