We are seeking a Finance & Administration Coordinator who will play a crucial role in managing finances and coordinating administrative tasks.

About the Role
As our Finance & Administration Coordinator, you’ll be an integral part of our Innovation & Engagement (I&E) Team. Your role will involve managing the financial aspects and coordinating administration to ensure our team operates smoothly. We’re a dynamic team, delivering numerous internal and external projects with multiple income streams, so your organisational skills will be highly valued!

You’ll take the lead on all finance-related aspects of these accounts, working closely with our central Administration and Finance Team. You’ll be responsible for managing the finances of the I&E Team, particularly supporting our portfolio of funding.

Your role will also involve preparing management accounts and reports for our I&E Leadership Team. You’ll be tracking expenditure across the team, alerting budget holders when significant variances occur and advising on finance actions and solutions.

About You
We’re looking for someone with proven expertise in project management and designing efficient systems and processes. You should have excellent organisational skills and a logical mind, with the ability to analyse and improve processes and systems.

You should be results-focused and have a track record of completing projects. A strong customer service ethos is essential, and experience in leading high-performing customer-facing teams would be a big plus.

We’d also like you to have experience in managing change in a large organisation. Enthusiasm for implementing change and the ability to bring fresh thinking to challenges is also a must. Experience of financial management and in planning and managing budgets is necessary.
