Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit two experienced, reliable and highly motivated Senior Applicant Engagement Officers.
The Applicant Engagement team leads on the University’s relationship with applicants, supporting them through their applicant journey with Oxford Brookes. The team also manages ‘top of funnel’ enquiry channels such as TheStudentRoom, Unibuddy, phone, email and CRM enquiries, ensuring that a prospective student’s first encounter with Oxford Brookes is a positive one.
In this post, you will use knowledge of specific markets (UK and International) lead on the development and delivery of targeted conversion campaigns, working in collaboration with colleagues across recruitment and marketing teams. You will lead a team to deliver an efficient and effective enquiry and applicant support service, providing high-quality personalised information and guidance to prospective students and applicants.
Overall Purpose of the post of Senior Applicant Engagement Officer:
The Applicant Engagement team leads on the University’s relationship with applicants. The Senior Applicant Engagement Officer will lead a team responsible for the delivery of communication and conversion strategies, and providing high-quality personalised information and guidance to prospective students and applicants.
Qualifications and Experience for the post Senior Applicant Engagement Officer:
We want to hear from candidates who have experience of delivering and sustaining high standards within a customer facing role. You’ll have good knowledge and understanding of the UK and/or international applicant journey, and be able to apply to this to drive improvements in the conversion from offers to enrolment. The post holder will have excellent ability to work efficiently and accurately within a database and/or CRM system. You’ll also have experience of managing or supervising staff.
This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points based immigration system, however applications are welcome from candidates who don’t currently have the right to work in the UK, but who would be eligible to obtain a visa via another route.
