We are looking for a researcher, whose expertise lies in applied mathematics, to work with Etienne Farcot on an Leverhulme Trust-funded project entitled “Decoding complex auxin signalling processes using mathematical modelling”. The funding has been awarded jointly with Anthony Bishopp and Rahul Bhosale (Biosciences, Nottingham) and the successful candidate will work with alongside a plant molecular biologist and a bioinformatician. The successful candidate will develop and investigate models of molecular pathways, using methods from dynamical systems theory and numerical analysis. Significant amounts of data will be created and require analysis as well.

This full-time (36.25 hours) post is available from 3rd June 2024 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period until 2nd June 2027. Job share arrangements may be considered. Many of our team have flexible working patterns so we’re open to discuss flexible working arrangements with you.
