A research technician is sought for an initial 24-months post in the laboratory of Professor Yanick Crow, to support work investigating human diseases associated with enhanced interferon-mediated signalling.
The candidate will be detail-oriented, motivated to learn and master new techniques, and effective in managing her/his own time and workload in order to meet project deadlines.
The opportunity:
This is an opportunity to join a team of scientists recognised internationally for work on Mendelian disorders associated with an upregulation of type I interferon signalling; proceeding from clinical definition, through gene identification, to functional characterisation of underlying pathology (see Nat Rev Immunol 2022;22:471-83 for an overview). We will encourage the development of your research portfolio through involvement in all aspects of the life of the laboratory.
