We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate to support The Productivity Institute’s Regional Productivity Forum (RPF) in Yorkshire, Humber & the North East, based at Sheffield University Management School.

The Productivity Institute (TPI), which is funded by the Economic & Social Research Council, brings together world-leading and UK experts from a range of disciplines and backgrounds, working directly with policymakers and businesses to better understand, measure, and enable improvements in productivity across the whole of the UK, with the aim to improve living standard and well-being.

The RPF Research Associate will support TPI’s research and business engagement programme across the region and will be part of a network of RPF researchers based across the UK with a focus on productivity, in particular contributions of worker skills and management competencies, digital transformations and transition to net zero.

The purpose of the role is to undertake and contribute to new research and business engagement projects, help increase impact through the dissemination and translation of existing research to key stakeholders, and feedback insights from the region to the wider TPI community of stakeholders. The RA will also act as an ambassador for the RPF and support the RPF Lead and Chair in the management, organisation and governance of the RPF.
