Are you an experienced academic interested in supporting colleagues to develop non-standard provision (e.g. apprenticeship programmes, CPD / short courses, micro credentials)?

The Library and Academic Development (LAD) Directorate are looking to recruit a lecturer to the position of Educational Developer (Non-standard Provision). Within LAD, Academic Development (AD) is a recently formed area, with responsibility for providing teaching, training, resources and support across the University community of staff and students. You will work in the Educational Development team, collaborating with other AD teams (e.g. Student Learning Services, the English Language Centre, Digital Education), as well as key staff from across the institution. You will be responsible for advising and supporting staff in pedagogy and practice regarding the non-standard portfolio. 

The post is appropriate for experienced educational developers who have knowledge of quality assurance, inspection, and funding frameworks for non-standard provision. You will enhance learners' experiences through pedagogic innovation and supporting the University’s strategic objectives and priorities. You will draw on networks and knowledge across the sector to support programme teams as they develop both in-person and blended delivery of non-standard provision.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 37 hours a week.
