The successful candidate will be part of a team of Learning Technologists providing support for staff across the in the Faculty of Humanities. Working under the direction of the eLearning Manager in the assigned area, the Learning Technologist, alongside existing teams, will support the design of high quality and effective online and blended learning to enhance education provision for University of Manchester students. The post holder will be using their strong communication and interpersonal skills to pro-actively engage with academic colleagues in the design and development of teaching, learning and assessment to provide students with an excellent experience in their course units and programmes.
Where appropriate, the Learning Technologist will be required to also provide support, advice and guidance to students and other colleagues in the Professional Services across the institution including IT, Media Services and School support services. There may also be the requirement for some successful candidates to provide supervision for other members of the team.
