The Sainsbury Centre is a world-class art museum with a unique perspective on how art can foster cultural dialogue and exchange. Following a radical relaunch in 2023 the Sainsbury Centre is the first museum in the world to formally recognise the living lifeforce of art, enabling people to build relationships across an arts landscape.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Living Art to join the Sainsbury Centre to provide leadership in the stewardship and management of the Sainsbury Centre Collection. You will have responsibility for the permanent collection overseeing conservation, loans, acquisitions, documentation, and collection research.

You will have a post graduate qualification (MA or PhD) in a relevant subject area of museum collections and experience of leading a professional gallery or museum team, including business planning, budgeting and all aspects of staff management and development.
This full-time post is available from 24 June 2024 on an indefinite basis.
