The Registry Support, Student Records, and Timetabling team supports a range of registry related activities at Birmingham Newman University including enrolment, module registration, change of circumstances, disclosure (DBS) application processing, ad hoc room bookings and academic course timetabling.
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our team to act as our student facing enquiry point on the university’s Student Helpdesk covering all aspects relating to student records and timetabling, and providing the best quality customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
The successful applicant must have good communication skills with a desire to give excellent customer service to students. Also, demonstrable administrative experience, preferably in a customer focused or educational context, and IT skills, including data entry, using spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office packages. High levels of accuracy, good attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential. Along with the ability to organise workload and prioritise between tasks to ensure deadlines are met providing an efficient, effective, accurate and responsive administrative support service.
