Due to the continued growth and expansion of our DCPsych programme, we are looking for HCPC registered counselling psychologists and UKCP registered psychotherapists to join our dynamic team. Our Doctoral programme in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy is accredited by the BPS, and validated by the HCPC and the UKCP, and our students are eligible for registration with these organisations upon graduation, making us leaders in our field.
Being a part of our warm, welcoming and supportive team, you will play a key role in educating and nurturing our next cohorts of emerging counselling psychologists/ psychotherapists and will be joining us at an exciting time in our development. All our lecturers are encouraged to develop their own research and academic interests and are normally practising psychologists/ psychotherapists, working either in the NHS and/or private practice. Our students therefore benefit from your ongoing clinical and research experience and enjoy the diversity of our team and research interests.
whilst the Institute is your contracted place of work, we do operate a hybrid policy allowing staff to work from home for the most part. Face to face teaching and a small number of meetings will be in person at the Institute’. Positions are available from one day a week to full time.
We welcome applicants from a range of diverse backgrounds, communities and skills, so as to compliment the widening diversity of our student body, and in line with our commitment to equality and diversity as an Institute.
