Legal Tutor - Conveyancing: Full Time (Part Time available) and Remote

We would like you to be part of an exciting new phase at CILEX.  With new L6 and L7 Apprenticeships and Paralegal programme as well as our own established CILEX Professional Qualification, this role will have a good spread of teaching, curriculum development and student coaching.   If you are a legal Property expert with a passion for teaching others, we would love to talk to you about joining our professional Education Delivery team, where you will work in collaboration to develop the next generation of specialist lawyers (Conveyancers).

The role 

• Deliver group teaching sessions / Masterclasses at all levels via webinars, checking and supporting learning and the practical application of workplace skills
• Lead on the preparation of teaching materials, assignments and associated mark schemes and assist with course design where appropriate
• Mark assignments in line with mark scheme and provide effective feedback to learners on their performance and progress
• Carry out orientation calls and subject reviews with learners and engage in initial induction training to develop the fundamental skills and knowledge to commence teaching duties
• Identify additional learning support needs in liaison with the Learning Support Manager, implementing any necessary adjustments and monitoring learner attendance and engagement,
• Promote our safeguarding and wellbeing culture throughout interactions with both staff and learners
• Keep up to date with developments in designated areas of specialism

The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with credible practice experience and ideally will have prior teaching / training or assessment experience:
