Who we need
The People Services Team Leader is a pivotal role within our shared service team, responsible for managing the People Services shared service inbox, organising team workload, as well as carrying an administration workload themselves, supporting on more complex queries.
The role requires exceptional organisation, communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of HR processes and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our managers and colleagues across the college.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for someone who can manage a fast-paced environment, with periods of high traffic at peak times, such as payroll or start of term time. The ideal candidate will be able to remain calm under pressure, supporting the People Services team to prioritise workload to ensure our colleagues receive accurate responses, documentation and pay in a timely manner.
We are looking for someone with the below experience:
Extensive HR administration
Pensions schemes and pension administration
Payroll handover
Line management/team leadership
Experience working in the Education sector is also desirable, but not essential.
