About the role
A member of the Advancement Office leadership team, your primary focus will be to directly manage a high-performing Philanthropy Team. The team works to attract major and transformational gifts from individuals, companies, charitable trusts and other philanthropic sources. You will work closely with the Director of Advancement and Director of Philanthropy in supporting and developing the Philanthropy Team to achieve agreed fundraising strategy priorities and targets.
Both externally and internally, you will lead by example, with an organised and efficient approach to the philanthropic process, ensuring the Philanthropy Team are entirely focussed on delivering results. On occasion, you may manage a portfolio of strategically important relationships, which will focus on historical support, or be of great non-philanthropic importance to the University.
This is a part time (29.2 hours), fixed term position with an end date of 2nd June 2025 or the early return of the post holder.
