We are thrilled to announce exciting opportunities for flexible and dedicated tutors to join our expanding ESOL department. We offer a variety of teaching hours during both day and evening, with positions available at our Huddersfield and Dewsbury Centres, as well as opportunities to work at other college sites and within the community.
Kirklees College, a large and successful further education college, is currently rated 'Good' by Ofsted. Our modern campuses in Huddersfield and Dewsbury feature excellent facilities, including a fully equipped gym, hair and beauty salons, and a fine dining restaurant. Both centres are conveniently located near train stations, with excellent transport links.
As a Lecturer in ESOL, you will have the chance to teach a range of levels from pre-entry to Level 2. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of the ESOL curriculum and experience in employing effective teaching strategies to support diverse learners. Your role may also involve teaching English, Maths, and digital skills, so experience with entry-level, Level 1 functional skills, and/or GCSEs is advantageous.

Preferred qualifications include:
A Level 5 teaching qualification is desirable, or a willingness to undertake a Level 5 Certificate in Education or CELTA as part of the role at the earliest opportunity.
