The new, North Wales Medical School (NWMS), supported by Coleg Cenedlaethol Cymraeg, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced candidate for this new appointment. As the successful applicant, you will have a unique opportunity to lead and deliver medical education through the medium of Welsh, joining a growing, enthusiastic faculty team which includes many Welsh speakers.

This full-time* position aims to enhance teaching and pastoral support for medical students through the creation and promotion of new Welsh medium resources. You will be educated to PhD level or equivalent (or close to completion) in a medically relevant subject and be experienced and passionate about undergraduate and/or postgraduate medical and/or healthcare education. Duties will primarily meet the requirements of our medical students with contributions to our other programmes Interprofessional education is a strong, growing focus within the School which you will be expected to support. You will join a dynamic, supportive team and will be assisted with your professional development, with opportunities to pursue a postgraduate qualification and the Advance HE fellowship. 

Fluency in written and spoken Welsh is essential.
