Warwick is home to a world-class centre of excellence in mechanobiology spanning work at the molecular, cellular and tissue scales (www.mechanochemistry.org). We now seek to appoint an Assistant/Associate Professor who is pursuing research into how disruption of electrical and/or mechanobiology functions contributes to human pathologies, and in particular cardiac disorders. With opportunities to build a transdisciplinary team with leading clinical electrophysiologists at the University hospital, this is a unique opportunity to build a new research programme dedicated to understanding and solving important human cardiac diseases. The role will be based at our purpose-built institute, dedicated to translational medicine, Clinical Sciences Research Laboratory (CSRL) at UHCW.
For informal enquiries, please contact Anne Straube via email: A.Straube@warwick.ac.uk.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
Full details of the duties and selection criteria for this role can be found in the vacancy advert on the University of Warwick's jobs pages. You will be routed to this when you click on the Apply button.
