The Manchester Institute of Education is seeking an outstanding Data Manager to join our thriving and dynamic research community. You will work as part of the #BeeWell research team under the supervision of Professor Neil Humphrey. #BeeWell is a groundbreaking measurement and improvement programme for secondary schools in Greater Manchester. The programme is set to be rolled out in a second location from 2023, and this post is part of our expansion efforts.
The aim of the research strand of the project is to improve our understanding of the development and drivers of wellbeing in adolescence. We are using an adapted version of a ‘population cohort study’ design in which we will collect quantitative data from tens of thousands of young people from schools across the city-region in three annual waves. Further information about #BeeWell can be found at www.gmbeewell.org. The Data Manager will lead on data and survey management, analysis and aggregation of the #BeeWell dataset, development of survey feedback tools (e.g. data dashboards) and a variety of other duties.
