As Graphic, Information and Digital Design Lead, you’ll be joining a quickly expanding, friendly team responsible for shaping and leading creative projects and standards across our creative and communications offering. With a great eye for detail and a real passion for design, you’ll work collaboratively across major projects and campaigns, ensuring our messages reach the intended audience in the right way.
Great communication skills are essential, and the ability to tackle every aspect of a project from start to finish.
We are looking for an experienced, graphically and digitally focused creative design specialist to lead on the design aspects of high-profile cross-university and external projects. Working with the creative and communications team in the School of Design, subject matter experts and external stakeholders, you will lead a team of creative professionals to design and develop high quality professional and innovative design concepts. You are also expected to contribute to various areas of the School of Design, in particular PACE – Professional Academy for Creative Enterprise. PACE is a new and excitement development in the School of Design to be launched in the next few months as part of the School’s 150th anniversary this year.
You will be an individual with proven experience in graphic and information creative design (including motion graphics) accompanied by excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be able to evidence experience of defining graphic and information design of our various print, motion and digital assets using a combination of design technologies, as well as designing web-based content and promotional material.
Due to the nature of teamwork and collaboration needed, this role will be based on campus 5 days a week.
