Apprenticeships play a key part in the University’s 2030 strategy ‘Education without Boundaries’ and we have ambitious plans to grow our apprenticeship provision across all faculties.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated individual who will be supporting the compliant delivery of the University’s Apprenticeship offer. This is an exciting new post sat in the new created Apprenticeship Hub, part of the Directorate of Employability and Apprenticeships.

The post holder will provide a broad range of skilled administration support services on behalf of the University in support of apprenticeship administration and compliance. They are responsible for all the administrative and reporting systems which maintain contractual compliance. The role will involve working closely with colleagues within the faculties delivering apprenticeships, as well as central University departments and employer stakeholders, to ensure the accuracy and robustness of all data, ILR submissions and apprenticeship evidence packs.

You will play a key role in ensuring audit packs are kept up to date and will undertaking and coordinating regular audits of apprentice records to identify and resolve compliance risks.

This requires an organised individual with a keen eye for detail who operates with an ‘audit-ready’ approach to their work. This is an evolving role and effective delivery will rely heavily on a self-motivated and organised individual with outstanding planning, innovation and communication skills. High-level numeracy skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines are essential.

Please note, there is a minimum requirement of 2 days a week working onsite, one of which will be a fixed day at the Greenwich Campus.
