Description of Post
The Education and Outreach Manager (EOM) will lead the next stage development of the Border Region Manufacturing Cluster (BORMAC). This Cluster has already been launched, for more information see www.bormac.ie. BORMAC is funded by Enterprise Ireland and supplemented by ATU’s own funding. The Regional Cluster programme represents a heightened level of national commitment to catching up with the development of regional industry clusters, and their success, elsewhere in Europe. This initiative is of strategic importance for development of the region and the role will have a high profile. The possibility of funding for a further period has already been indicated by Enterprise Ireland.
