The role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join Ravensbourne University’s Kit Store team and ensure all our staff and students have access to our large pool of media and digital equipment.
The role will require you to provide support and assistance to the Kit Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the department, ensuring academic requests for resources are processed and agreed upon in advance of each semester; that students requests for resources are reviewed and approved in a timely manner; to work closely with the Health & Safety team, reviewing risk assessment documentation; and to act as the main point of contact for our asset management system provider.
The role will be required to work a variable work pattern in accordance with the agreed opening hours of the Kit Store, normally to start no earlier than 7.00am and to finish no later than 7.00pm, with usual operating hours bring 8:00am – 6:00pm, in order to provide the appropriate cover for these services.
The candidate
The successful candidate will have experience working within a customer-focused environment with relevant experience in administration and logistics, bringing with them the skills necessary to coordinate the day-to-day tasks of a demanding and busy environment. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience with cameras, lighting, and/or audio recording equipment.
