Nadine is a Lecturer in English Literature & Cultural History at Liverpool John Moores University, where she took up her post in 2012, six months after completing her PhD at the University of Hull in 2012. Her research interests lie in the following areas: cultural histories of women, gender and feminism from the Victorian period to the present; contemporary women’s writing; feminist theory and practice; and neo-Victorianism. She is currently working on a book on The Widow in British Literature & Culture, 1850-1979. Nadine is passionate about postgraduate and early-career researcher development and runs The New Academic (http://www.nadinemuller.org.uk).
