Vlogs

Want to get a real insight into what it's like to do a PhD? We thought the best way would be for PhDs themselves to show you with informative video blogs - better known as vlogs.

Our vlogs will cover everything from starting a PhD, moving abroad to do a PhD, finding funding opportunities to viva preparation and finding your first academic job. Over four weeks during September and October 2015 we have invited five PhD students at various stages of their PhD and locations to film themselves and share the videos with you. Each week we will be launching a short 5-7 minute vlog video from each of our vloggers. If you want to try vlogging yourself you can watch our tips video here. Please share these vlogs on social media using the links below and tell us what you think on Twitter using the hashtag #PhDvlog and @jobsacuk
