PhD Research Opportunities for 2010 entry

Electro-catalysis

Queen's University Belfast - Centre for the Theory and Application of Catalysis

Three studentships listed below are available for 3 years to undertake research in the area of Electro-catalysis within the multi-disciplinary Centre for the Theory and Application of Catalysis (CenTACat, http://www.qub.ac.uk/centacat/) in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

They cover tuition fees and annual maintenance (£13,700 to £14,500 per annum) for 3 years. To qualify for a studentship, applicants must have or expect to obtain in 2010 a minimum of 2.1 honours (or equivalent) in a relevant subject (e.g. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials). Due to funding restrictions, these studentships are for UK / EU students only.

Applications should be made online (https://pg.apply.qub.ac.uk/home/).

Potential applicants are advised to contact Dr. W. F. Lin at w.lin@qub.ac.uk or Professor C Hardacre at c.hardacre@qub.ac.uk to discuss their applications.
