Vacancy Details: We wish to recruit a Research Technician to study carbohydrate synthesis (lipid attachment), transport through membranes and polymerization in the Naismith laboratory.
Candidates must hold an undergraduate qualification in a cognate discipline.
Applicants must have demonstrated laboratory expertise (Industrial or Academic) in protein expression, purification and assay.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with membrane proteins.
The post will be for 18 months in the first instance although funding is potentially available longer. The position is available immediately.
