The School seeks to appoint an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer or Reader) in Music. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the subject area of Music upon the retirement of the current head in 2013-14, while making a strong contribution to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, research and professional practice activities.
You will have a PhD in Music or equivalent, and have experience of teaching Music within Higher Education. You will play a full role in the administrative life of the department. You will also be expected to make a full return of 3*/4* publications and/or outputs in REF 2014.

This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
