The Faculty is looking to appoint a technician to support staff and students with materials engineering research projects in the Faculty laboratories.
The post will be responsible for the day to day production of samples and research equipment using mechanical workshop equipment, and the assisting of research students and staff to design and build research equipment.
You should have completed an apprenticeship or formal training in an Engineering environment and have a relevant Technical qualification. You should be familiar with Health and Safety regulations and be able to demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
