Into offers a range of programmes from pre-university to postgraduate level recruited via our global network. The London Centre is also home to a joint venture with City University London and the Norwich Business School London base.
We currently have vacancies for Presessional English Teachers on our 12, 8 and 4- week intakes, which run between 24th June and 13th September 2013. Teachers must be available to teach for the whole of the period for which they are employed. In addition, there will be a one-day paid induction during the week commencing 17th June. We regret that we cannot offer accommodation for this period.
Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- A recognised TEFL qualification, ideally at diploma and/or Master’s level (e.g. DELTA, MA in ELT and Applied Linguistics)
- Previous experience teaching EAP and/or preparing international students for higher education
- Previous presessional teaching will be a distinct advantage
Salary: £29,131 (pro rata) plus 30 days holiday (pro rata).
Teachers on a full time contract are expected to work 37.5 hours week on site, 20 of which will be teaching hours, and to undertake additional tasks as necessary, such as attendance at meetings, tutorials, marking and cover teaching.
