We are looking for an enthusiastic Fieldworker to collect data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) participants, for an MRI (Breast Tissue) study we are undertaking. You will be a trained phlebotomist, educated to degree level or have equivalent experience. You will be experienced in collecting data in a research study and have a sound understanding of research methodologies and the importance of research governance. You will also have excellent planning and organisational skills, be able to work under pressure and possess well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with participants. Clinic sessions are scheduled subject to participant and equipment availability, and may take place during weekdays as well as on Saturdays. We are, therefore, able to offer flexibility in terms of working days and times. The contracted number of hours per week is 21, which could be worked over 3 or 4 days per week. The post is offered on an 12 month fixed-term contract.
