Reporting to the Corporate Information Manager you will work with another System Developer to support, maintain and develop the University’s data warehouse.
Self-motivated with good problem-solving and diagnostic skills, you should possess an analytical and inquiring approach to your role. You must have demonstrable experience of relational databases, Business Objects and SQL, as well as systems analysis or dimensional modelling/ETL tools. This demanding role will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to tight time scales.
You should be educated to at least further education level or equivalent, and have demonstrable experience of designing database structures and implementing a data warehouse, preferably within a large organisation. Knowledge of higher education academic structures is also desirable.

This is a full-time post working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
