Grade E64: Salary in the range £30,992 - £35,596 p.a.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a molecular diagnostics fellow to join the Oxford BRC NHS Molecular Diagnostics Centre (MDC). The position is fixed-term for 3 years in the first instance and is ideally suited for a postdoctoral senior specialist registrar in pathology with an interest in solid tumours who wishes to pursue a career in molecular diagnostics. Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathology is desirable, but not essential. The position is a unique opportunity for postgraduate training in molecular medicine. Accreditation of this innovative training program with the Royal College of Pathologists will be sought.
The Oxford BRC Molecular Diagnostic Centre is an inter-disciplinary Centre funded to undertake a major programme of translational research with the University of Oxford in molecular diagnostics.
The candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and participate in biomarker development. You will supervise scientific staff and assist in the preparation of high impact publications.
