Fixed term from September 2013 until 30 July 2014
The School of English seeks to appoint a temporary Teaching Fellow to maintain its strength in the teaching of the period 1590-1700. You will join a department of research excellence with an extensive teaching programme. In Semester One, you will be asked to teach the following undergraduate modules: Renaissance Literature and/or Civil War and Restoration Literature. You may also be asked to contribute to the MA programme in Renaissance Literature. In Semester Two, you may be asked to contribute to the teaching of the Eighteenth Century Literature module.
With relevant teaching experience in the literature of the period 1590-1700, you will hold a doctorate in a relevant field, or be close to submission.
