This lectureship is intended to provide research-informed teaching in emergency response as well as related research activity in the Institute.
You must have an MBChB or equivalent and clinical experience in emergency medicine. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to an academic career with a focus on research in the area of emergency response/disaster medicine within the broader context of global health. Preference will be given to those candidates who bring an interest in the role of foreign medical teams in overseas disasters. Experience of postgraduate teaching is also desirable.
This three-year appointment will begin June 2013 (or the earliest subsequent date).
