This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project officer to work for The Open University (OU), the United Kingdom’s largest teaching and research University.

You will work closely with the REF Manager in Research, Scholarship and Quality Unit and the Open Research Online (ORO) team to manage and co-ordinate the publications elements of the REF 2014 submission, and will be responsible for ensuring the publications data submitted is accurate and meets HEFCE’s requirements.

A good working knowledge of the research publication process and bibliographic data is essential. 

You will be accustomed to working to deadlines and have a high level of personal responsibility and attention to detail. The role will require you to communicate with a wide range of people; hence you will need excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have experience of collating, analysing and presenting data. 

Experience of working with an institutional publications repository is desirable.
