The Department for Health at the University of Bath is looking to make a new Lecturer appointment to further strengthen the teaching and research team within the Sport Health & Exercise Science (SHES) Group. SHES are currently responsible for the delivery of one of the top undergraduate programmes in Sport & Exercise Science in the UK, as well as postgraduate programmes in Sport & Exercise Medicine and Sports Physiotherapy.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time lecturer in Human & Exercise Physiology who can contribute flexibly across our taught programmes. The successful applicant will be expected to teach basic and applied aspects of human & exercise physiology, engage in high quality research, and secure external funding to develop and support a systematic programme of research. We would particularly welcome applications from individuals who have a research focus in an area related to: the role of sport and exercise in the biology of ageing and function, or; occupational and environmental exercise physiology.
