The College of Electrical and Information Engineering (CEIE) was founded in 1921, which has a history of over 90 years and is one of the most prestigious electrical and information engineering programs in China. The CEIE has two National Key Disciplines (Control science and engineering, Electrical Engineering) and one National Engineering Technology Research Centers. The CEIE covers almost all the major disciplines in electrical and information engineering, including Electrical Engineering, Control Science and Engineering, Electronics Science and Technology, and Instrumentation Science and Technology, etc. The CEIE has a world-class research team with a total of over 180 faculty members, featuring one member of Chinese Academy of Engineering, one National “1000 Talent Plan” distinguish professor, and one Yangtze River Scholar.

We invite candidates that complement the CEIE’s traditional strengths in (1) pattern recognition and intelligent system, (2)image processing, (4) biomedical engineering, and (3) control theory and control engineering.

  • Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor in Electronics Science and Technology

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Annual salary RMB 100,000 for Research Assistant/Assistant Professor, RMB 150,000 for Associate Professor and RMB 200,000 for Professor. Candidates with special experiences and strong academic record will be given special consideration.
  • Settlement allowance: RMB 200,000 for professors and RMB 140,000 for associate professors and assistant professors paid in monthly within five years.
  • Monthly accommodation rental subsidy within 2 years, RMB 400 for unmarried and RMB 600 for married.
  • Start-up research package: RMB 100,000 for professors.
  • Youth Scholars funding available for assistant professor and associated professor under 40 years old, with a lump-sum research grant of RMB 250,000, annual payment in five years.
  • Full university benefits and public insurance.
  • Subsided university owned nursery, primary school and middle school, ranked top in the city.
  • Three months University semester vacation, summer vacation runs from July to August and winter vacation around Chinese New Year.
