PhD Scholarships in the School of Nursing and Midwifery (SNM)

The School of Nursing and Midwifery undertake innovative research to develop knowledge, evaluate effectiveness and implement change in healthcare through interventions, treatments and knowledge to transform and shape policy and practice in three key areas:

  • Safety and quality of healthcare
  • Improving outcomes for adults with chronic health conditions
  • Childbearing, children and young people

The School invite applications for PhD scholarships that align with our priority research areas (2 positions available). Scholarships are to be taken up between January-June 2017.

Amount: As per guidelines for APA/ECU scholarships (currently $27,000 AUD per annum)
Frequency: Fortnightly
Method: EFT
Tenure: 3 years with a possible 6 month extension
