About Us:

Aspire is a new brand under the established Global University Systems group. We are launching a new programme of vocational courses across the UK, starting in Birmingham and Manchester and have a range of opportunities for freelance tutors in the Law professions to support our growing faculty. We are currently looking for Tutors/Lecturers with experience of delivering Level 3 diploma in Health & Social Care.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Delivering high quality teaching using contemporary learning and teaching methods and activities to engage with a diverse student population.
  • Ensuring course materials are up-to-date and produced to a high standard.
  • Designing the content or learning materials within existing frameworks and making appropriate modifications.
  • Providing support, advice and information to staff, students and external institutions as and when requested.
  • Providing support, advice and information to staff, students and external institutions as and when requested.
  • Monitoring progress and using student data for continuous improvement.
  • Making contact with students and other staff to explore their needs, to gain feedback and to assess ways in which the teaching/service could be better adapted to meet requirements.
  • Providing detailed feedback and information to students, conveying facts and information within the team and clarifying issues that may arise.
  • Assessing the best way of communicating with students and staff and using language over and above that found in everyday conversation.
  • Understanding and conveying to others communications and information of a complex or conceptual nature both orally and in written form.
  • Suggesting alternative ways of helping students if they are unable to understand.
  • Promoting the image of the school through an articulate and confident approach.
  • Promoting good classroom practice and behavior.


  • Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees in a relevant discipline and a teaching qualification supported by extensive professional/teaching experience
  • Professional qualification in your specialist area
  • Doctorate in the relevant area. Recognised teaching qualification i.e. PGCE, PTLLS, DTTLS are desirable.
  • Experience teaching in a Further Education college.
  • Experience teaching Home, EU and international students.
  • Good classroom management experience.
  • Developing a positive learning environment.
  • Participating in departmental activities including administration duties.
