The School of Applied Social Sciences is seeking to appoint a permanent Lecturer in Applied Social Sciences with a specialism in Social Work, to deliver modules in the area of Social Work on our professional postgraduate programme. We invite applications from candidates with research interests that fit the themes of the School. The successful candidate will have produced, or have the potential to produce, internationally excellent publications in leading journals. S/he will also have the potential to generate research funding, and have clear plans for attracting future research income. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the field of Social Work contributing to the delivery of programmes at all levels across this integrated School in his/her own specialist areas of research expertise. The successful candidate will join a lively research culture with active support for writing of high quality publications, development of research grant applications and generation of impact.
