Working under the supervision of Dr Rob Comber at Open Lab, Newcastle University, this post involves research software design and development for the EU Erasmus+ Linguacuisine project. You will be responsible for the design and development of mobile and social computing platforms to support language learning among marginalized communities through recipe production and sharing.
You will have a first class honours undergraduate degree in Computer Science, and will be an accomplished mobile and social computing software developer with a track-record of object oriented programming, e.g. publicly released mobile apps.
International travel will be required as part of this project.
The post is available fixed term for 20 months.
