The Institute of Sport, within the Faculty of Education, Health & Well-being, is seeking to appoint a permanent Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Physical Education to complement the current staff team within the Institute. You will primarily be required to teach and assess on the BA (Hons) Physical Education programme. This is not a Qualified Teacher Status course and thus offers considerable flexibility in the study of Physical Education across all age ranges.
You will have a post graduate degree or equivalent in an appropriate subject and qualified teacher status. You will also demonstrate the ability to contribute to degree-level teaching and establish or develop your personal research and consultancy profile. You will also be expected to make a contribution to the Institute’s income generation and outreach activities.
