About The International School of Advanced Materials:
The School is a part of the Network of International Centres for Education in China (NICE). NICE supports universities in establishing their own international schools by introducing international faculty members led by an internationally renowned dean, as well as a set of special academic policies that encourage international collaborations.
The academic strength of the ISAM is further supported by the ample shared resources with the School of Materials Science and Engineering (SMSE). In 2014, SMSE had more than 300 SCI papers published in top journals including Science, Nat. Photonics, Adv. Job Description and Qualifications:
We are seeking to appoint Teaching Fellows/Professors in Computer Science. Candidates are expected to have Master or PhD degree in Computer Science or related disciplines, with experience in the innovative delivery of teaching to undergraduate-level students.
The post holders will act as one of the key liaison points with undergraduate students and work with the school to develop and deliver a contemporary curriculum to undergraduate students (Y3.-Y3). The main duties associated with the post are as follows:
- Course delivery for selected courses in Computer, including (but not limited to): Computer Network Technology and Application, Object-oriented Programming.
- Contribution to the academic administration.
- Supervision and assessment of BSc student projects.
- Helping the School improve its engagement with industry and enhance students' employability.
- Supporting and growing key international partner/s.
- Flexi contract: at least one month, long term contract is preferred.
- Can be extended to three years or a permanent position
Location: Guangzhou, China
Salary and benefit:
The whole package includes:
- salary of RMB 400,000 — 1,500,000 per annum or pro rata, negotiable according to the applicants' background and will not be lower than the applicant’s most recent salary.

- meal allowance
- accommodation allowance
