Interview Date: 15/11/2016
We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time counsellor to join a friendly and innovative team in November 2016. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful service, within a vibrant and dynamic environment.
You will carry an individual caseload, working mainly within a brief time-limited model, contribute to the delivery of wellbeing initiatives, including group work, and play an active part within the counselling team.
You will be a BACP (or equivalent) accredited counsellor with substantial post qualification experience. You will have a clear understanding of the application of counselling in an HE/FE institution. You will also need to be positive, committed and have awareness and sensitivity in working with a culturally diverse client group. Applicants with experience of using technology to enhance their practice are particularly welcome to apply.
The Counselling Service is BACP accredited and provides a wide range of counselling and wellbeing interventions for the students and staff of the University of Bradford and Bradford College. We are part of the Student and Academic Services directorate and aim to work collaboratively with other support services across the University.

Only relevant convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings and any other information that may have a bearing on your suitability for the post will be taken into account.
Informal enquiries prior to application may be made to Penelope Aspinall, Head of Service on 01274 23 5750 or to e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org.
