We have an opportunity in the Operations and Information Management (OIM) Group for a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Information Systems. The appointment will be made based on the experience and academic profile of the candidate.

We are seeking an individual with PhD in Information Systems, Information Management or related discipline who has research and teaching interests in the broad areas of Information Systems and Information Technology, with a particular interest in the application of technology to make businesses more innovative and support decision making in global environments. The successful candidate is likely to be researching topics related to strategic IS, social media, digital innovation, virtual teams, IT outsourcing and offshoring. Candidates who can teach green IT, IT project management, databases or web development would be especially desirable.

For appointment as a Lecturer the ideal candidate will have started to establish a record of high quality scholarly publications and will have, or expect to obtain shortly, a relevant PhD.

Additional interests in Operational Research, Statistics, Operations Management or other areas of the Operations and Information Management Group would be an advantage.
