We wish to appoint an excellent researcher to our Translational Research Group headed by Professor Suzuki within the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences.
In this role you will work with the group on their research objectives including the development and implementation of new diagnostic and therapeutic methods with a primary focus on biomarkers/proteomics and understanding mechanisms of disease through comprehensive analysis ranging from molecular & cellular approaches to animals models and pre-clinical studies. The successful candidate will contribute to research papers, write up findings and make contributions to written reports and grant applications.
You will hold an honours degree in a relevant discipline, and have recent experience in protein engineering, recombinant protein production or relevant protein biochemistry techniques. You will be enthusiastic and have effective interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well as part of a team.
