Do you want to help aspiring medical researchers fulfil their potential?
Nurturing the next generation of medical researchers is at the heart of the Academy’s vision to improve health through research. We are looking for a Programme Officer to take forward our work in this area.
You will be responsible for the administration and ongoing development of the Academy’s mentoring scheme and associated career development programme. The mentoring scheme enables the Academy’s distinguished Fellows to provide direct support and guidance to aspiring medical researchers. The role includes delivering a UK-wide programme of networking events and training workshops.
You will be educated to first degree level, and have experience of building external contacts and organising events. Excellent communication skills are a key attribute. General knowledge of medical research and the UK healthcare sector is desirable, but not essential.
