Loughborough University Library is seeking applicants for the role of Assistant Director: Academic and User Services.
Reporting to the Director of Library Services, and functioning as a key member of the Library's Senior Management Team, the post-holder will lead both the User Services and Academic Services teams to optimise the delivery and development of front line services and academic liaison.
The Assistant Director will also provide strategic direction for:
- developments in service and organisational improvement;
- the monitoring and evaluation of library services;
- ensuring that all services are user-led;
- staff development and training and HR practices.
Candidates will demonstrate relevant skills and experience including excellent team management and leadership, with the ability to foster effective internal and external partnerships and collaborative working both within the University and beyond.
This is a very exciting time to join the University and the Library team.
