This post is available for two years to join Dr Andriana Margariti’s stem cell biology research team within the Centre for Experimental Medicine.
The successful candidate will work on a BHF-funded project based on induced pluripotent stem cells, RNA-binding proteins and vascular disease such as diabetes.
Employing a broad range of cell and molecular biological approaches, the fellow will investigate the mechanisms of vascular cell differentiation and their funcuion in vitro and in vivo assays. Complex in vitro and in vivo models will be used to assess the function of the differentiated cells in vascular repair and diabetes.
